Slow Day at the Prison

Well it was a very slow day at Pam Lychner yesterday. I arrived about 7:45 and they were turning the visitors around at the gate. They had shut down all visitation for the weekend. The prison was about to start scrubbing down and sanitizing everything because of the swine flu virus threat in Texas. It always better to be on the safe side than taking a chance of the virus
spreading if it was there. But, what are they going to do for the future when visitation starts up again? They might not have had any problems, but upcoming visits may create a problem. I just pray that God will keep this sickness out of our prison system. It's hard enough now to see a doctor just for a cold much less the fear of this swine flu.
